Chris Davies is one half of Disco Freaks, a vinyl DJ duo, party, radio show & record label, that launched in 2013. Over the last 13 years they've expanded from London to international shows in New York, Italy, Australia, Scandinavia, Croatia and Spain plus regular festivals appearances including a Glastonbury residency since 2016 & Bestival. They've played alongside Roy Ayers, John Morales, Change, Natasha Diggs & Marcellus Pittman, at iconic venues such as Fabric, Jazz Cafe, Es Paradis Ibiza & Ministry Of Sound plus on line-ups for Glitterbox, Disco Disco & Defected Records. They've released remixes & edits on Acid Jazz Records and through their own label Disco Freaks Recordings. For the last 10 years they've also hosted a monthly radio show on Hoxton Radio in London & The Face Radio in Brooklyn, New York.
In 2021 Chris also launched AXNÉR, a contemporary disco band. AXNÉR have released sell-out records featuring members of Nile Rodgers & Chic, Al ‘Million Dollar Disco’ Kent & John Morales and their music has been supported by Dua Lipa, The Reflex, Dave Lee, BBC 6Music's Craig Charles & Coleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy.
