Sweetneck is a Swedish trio combining playfulness, energy, and presence in an acoustic sound rooted in bluegrass and Americana. With guitar, mandolin, and double bass as the foundation, they create a swinging sound together with harmony vocals. The music blends tradition and the present, from original material to personal interpretations of other artists' songs. The repertoire ranges from upbeat tracks to more reflective and emotional moments, all delivered with precision and a strong stage presence. Every show takes shape in the moment, carried by the trio's love of live performance.
The trio came together at High Chaparral in the summer of 2024 and quickly made an impact after several well-received gigs. Since then, Sweetneck has played for a broad audience in several places across southern Sweden, including Halmstad, Gothenburg, and Värnamo.
The trio has played at Gränna Wintergrass Festival and also performed as travelling musicians at the High Chaparral Country Festival. They are also booked for Gränna Bluegrass Festival.
Sweetneck is a trio on the move, aiming for new stages, new collaborations, and an ever-growing audience! This time making their debut in Skåne!
