The concert will feature some audience favourites from last year, along with plenty of new material. As before, they will be joined by pianist Johan Reis, while this year the ensemble is further enriched by cellist Anna Wallgren. Expect an atmospheric concert where the most beautiful music of Christmas takes center stage. Bring someone special and experience the magic of Christmas together! “We both love Christmas and Christmas music, and we can’t wait to take A Peaceful Christmas on the road again this winter. We’re going to sing our hearts out!” Emmi Christensson has captivated audiences in musicals including The Sound of Music, West Side Story and Les Misérables. Her international breakthrough came on the West End, where she made a great impression as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London. Her acclaimed portrayal of Christine led her back to the role in the Swedish production at Cirkus in Stockholm, starring alongside Peter Jöback as the Phantom. Emmi has also appeared in Melodifestivalen, major television productions and concerts, effortlessly moving between musical theatre, her own music and large-scale stage productions. Opera tenor Rickard Söderberg trained at the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen and, since graduating, has established himself as one of Sweden’s most beloved opera singers. He has primarily performed roles in Baroque and Mozart operas, as well as contemporary opera, oratorios and concerts. With unwavering dedication, Rickard Söderberg has shared his love of the stage and the power of music with Swedish audiences. He is not only a deeply expressive performer and accomplished singer, but also a style icon and a humanitarian role model.
