In spring 2027, Björn Afzelius would have turned 80. To mark the occasion, a major tour brings together some of the people who were closest to Björn and his music, celebrating the legacy of one of Sweden’s most beloved and influential singer-songwriters. It will be an evening filled with Björn’s greatest songs, powerful stories and music that moves and brings people together - perhaps more than ever before. Age limit: All ages welcome! The songs will be performed by acclaimed musicians, friends and former colleagues who carry with them the experience, love and deep respect for his artistic legacy. On stage are bandleader Bernt Andersson, together with Göran “Guran” Blomgren, Stefan Sundberg and Mikael Krönlein. Guran and Bernt themselves toured with Björn during his career. Bernt, Stefan and Mikael were also members of the Varieté Orchestra, performing more than 1,200 times alongside and behind comedian and performer Carl-Einar Häckner. You’ll hear the great songs, but also the stories from behind the scenes - memories, moments and anecdotes that have rarely, if ever, been shared before. This is more than a concert.
