In the performance Figurer, we follow a trio of mischievous characters with wobbly self-confidence on a mysterious mission. Dressed in small pastel-colored cloaks, long silk gloves, and vintage trousers, the figures attempt to enter a theater to steal something. Once inside, the theater’s dusty interior comes to life, sharing its forgotten dreams of being on stage, the history of the building, and all its divas. The characters decide to help fulfill the interior’s dreams, and the performance transforms into an absurdist spectacle where a chair dances ballet, a curtain sings opera, and a refrigerator performs magic tricks. Figurer is a performance that explores dreams, the magic of everyday life, the forgotten, and the longing to be seen.
