Together, they perform both classic and contemporary Christmas songs, alongside a flowing mix of interpretations and fresh arrangements. Audiences can expect a musical journey that moves between intimate, cosy moments and grand, uplifting performances, creating a concert experience where the joy and spirit of Christmas take centre stage. The tour is not only a celebration of Christmas music, but also a testament to what can happen when two strong musical personalities come together and grow creatively side by side. Mats Björke, formerly a member of Mando Diao and an accomplished producer and composer, brings an organic and finely crafted sound that, combined with John Lundvik’s powerful voice, creates a unique musical landscape. The collaboration between Lundvik and Björke began in autumn 2025 with the album PSALM., on which Lundvik interpreted some of Sweden’s best-loved hymns. With renditions of classics such as Bered en väg för Herran, Gläns över sjö och strand and Stilla natt, the foundation was laid for their continued musical collaboration. The 2026 Christmas tour takes this journey further - from the reflective expression of PSALM. to the vibrant energy of the live stage, exploring new musical landscapes with the audience as an integral part of the journey.
