The album consists of 11 songs, with each song representing a specific day, emotion and state of mind connected to the body’s hormonal changes. Through the project, Maia allows the body’s natural rhythm to become part of the creative process itself. Rather than following traditional, often convention-driven ways of working, she has turned the perspective around and allowed the cycle to shape both the creative process and the story. “Performing live is what I’ve always loved most.
