Petter | Palladium, Malmö
On January 23, Swedish hip-hop pioneer Petter takes over Palladium for a unique concert experience. Experience one of the most influential artists in Swedish hip-hop in an intimate and personal setting where the music, stories and atmosphere take center stage. Age limit: 13+ with an accompanying adult Duration: 90 minutes Doors: 7:10 PM | On stage: 7:30 PM Bar & Bistro: Open from 6:30 PM With his upcoming album Bar Nîmes behind him, Petter hits the road in early 2027. This intimate and personal tour brings together new material with handpicked classics from a career spanning almost 30 years. Joining him on stage are musicians Carolina Wallin Pérez (keyboards and vocals) and Helmer Norrby (guitar and vocals). “With Carolina and Helmer by my side, I feel confident taking on this challenge. We’re doing what we want because we genuinely enjoy it, without having to force anything. At its core, the music will revolve around the new material from Bar Nîmes, but the audience can also expect plenty of old classics. I’m doing this because I’m incredibly passionate about what I started out with in the first place: music. I play because I love it, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who comes. Without the audience’s energy, there is no concert - that connection means everything,” says Petter. Following an intense year in the studio with producer Elias Kapari, Petter is set to release his highly anticipated album - a project already introduced through acclaimed singles such as Min tur, Sparat bilder and the Cherrie collaboration Alien. The collaboration has marked a musical transformation, with Petter exploring new vocal expressions and entering a new chapter in both his life and career as an artist. “There’s something pretty wonderful about getting older, but also about getting to stay young within the older version of yourself. Music is still my whole life,” he says. The tour is designed for a seated audience, creating a more intimate concert experience where the music, lyrics and stories are given room to take center stage. On January 23, join us at Palladium for an evening with Petter - intimate, personal and filled with Swedish music history.
